Do we need RO water purifier?

Welcome to this blog and here we can give you some analysis that, why a someone needs a RO Water Purifier in their house and before we are going to start it, let’s breaks it to points.

·         What is RO?

·         What actually water purifier does?

·         Do we really need one?

·         If we have one, then how can we ensure that we have better-tasted water all the Time?

Let’s start with, what is RO?

RO is the short form of Reverse Osmosis, in which a permeable membrane helps us to keep out unwanted bacteria, ions and chemicals. Basically, in RO process water is push towards the permeable(Spongy) membrane which has very small pores where only small particles like ion and molecules can pass through it, and it help the purest water to pass in and unwanted and highly solvent water to be outside. So, this is a RO Process.

Now, what actually a water purifier does?

Before we hop into it, we need to discuss the different-2 parts which are used in a normal or any RO.

·         Membrane (It helps to take out unwanted bacteria, ions, and molecule from the water)

·         Carbon Filter (It helps to water look clean and odor-free)

·         Sediment Filter (It helps to remove dust particles, like sand, dirt or debris)

·         UF or UF Filter ( It help to kill microbes within the water and safe water for drinking)

·         TDS Controller (It help to control the mineralization of water)

·         Pump Motor (It help to push the water to water to membrane, so that whole RO process works)

·         Adaptor (Power Source of RO)

These are some of the part which is commonly used in RO and a helps you to give better tasted water all the time.

Now, many people heard the word “TDS” and what this RO machine does is to help you to control your TDS (Total Dissolve Solvency) and give you safe drinking water. As, I have already mentioned that what RO process is, you are already aware about it.

Now the Important question is, do we really need one?

So this answer is totally depending on the water taste, quality and TDS.

·         TDS Between 100-300 is excellent for drinking.

·         Between 300-500 is Fair

·         Above 500, you required a RO

If your water tasted salty, metallic and foul smells come out of it, then you should definitely buy one.

Now it’s not all, after a buying one you should keep a check on your RO and it raises a question, how?

For this, you need to get a regular check on your water TDS level, which can be monitored by the TDS meter. Generally available with the RO Technician and you need to get your RO service in every 6-8 months, so that it works properly.

For those matters, market is already flooded with the brands, but no matter what RO you have. The thing matter is the service you get.

Now I am in Noida and purchased one through a company called RepairAdda. Basically a handyman service provider company, but they do sell RO at an affordable price of Rs.6999 and hopefully you will get some discount on it.

But RepairAdda also provide Best RO AMC Service (Annual maintenance contract) at a very low cost. For local RO it is just Rs.3200 and for the branded ones in just Rs. 5300 and the most interesting part is, they provide a upfront kit of RO.

Now, you feel biased with this article. So what I do is to give you details and check yourself.

Their customer care number is 92102-23456 or you can also visit their website www.repairadda.com and can download the app from playstore.
